The Information Technology and Communications (IT&C) field is currently in a development and transformation process. The evolution at a high pace in this field determines continuous adapting to the existing infrastructure. The event that EESTEC Bucharest proposes comes to complement the dedicated academic activity, conducted by the main principle “learning by doing”.

The Workshop develops current issues in the IT&C field, dealing with security problems in business environments and their continuous need to adapt to the market demand.

We will dwell on subjects such as: data and location security, monitoring employee activities, virtual offices and the safety of transferring information online.

Day 4: Bad software:

• viruses / trojans / worms
• spyware
• adware

Day 5: Online security:

• SSL certificates
• XSS (cross-site scripting)
